will be in and around the Cowtown Coliseum and Exchange Avenue
all day
from 9 am - 4 pm.
However, our
schedule of presentations in the Cowtown Coliseum is as follows:
| 9:00 - 9:30 | Meet the Gypsy Horses and their owners and enjoy the
photo opportunities as they groom and ready themselves for the day's presentations. Enter through the front doors of the Cowtown Coliseum and follow the signs to the back holding area. Enjoy meeting and shopping with our vendors too. |
| 9:30 - 10:30 | Watch our demonstration of how to show at halter.
This information applies to ALL BREEDS ! Learn the secrets of what the judges are looking at and for at a horse show. Watch our Gypsy Horses practice and learn along with the new buyers. After practicing we will have an ACTUAL "Halter Class" with the audience to help judge the winners. |
| 10:30 - 10:45 | Learn how they get those great equine photos and how
to take yours. |
| 10:45 - 11:00 | Listen to the facts and learn from James Oates
regarding "Taxes and Depreciation and Financial Planning for Your Horse Biz" Question and answer session at the end of his presentation. |
| 11:00 - 11:30 | Meet the Gypsy Horses and their owners and enjoy the
photo opportunities. You might even get to brush and work with a Gypsy baby. Enter through the front doors of the Cowtown Coliseum and follow the signs to the back holding area. Enjoy meeting and shopping with our vendors too. |

Break to go watch the cattle drive of
the Fort Worth Longhorn Herd down Exchange Avenue. |
| 12:00 - 12:30 | Enjoy the "Parade of Gypsies" in the Cowtown
Coliseum. You will see Mares, Stallions, and Foals and have the "History of the Breed" explained. Learn about their temperament, conformation and desired qualities as well as registry information. |
| 12:30 - 1:15 | Watch our demonstration of how to harness a horse (
any breed ). Learn the terminology and what each harness part is used for. Following the harnessing, there will be a demonstration of early driving training and what to watch for in parades and horse shows. |
| 1:15 - 1:30 | Listen to the facts from Bill Kelly of Jarvis
Insurance regarding Understanding Equine Liability Insurance and it's costs, insuring an event and insurance for equine mortality and health. There will be a time for questions and answers at the end of his presentation. |
| 1:30 - 2:15 | What a fun event this is to watch and learn ! There will be a Trail / Obstacle class demonstration with the audience to judge. Watch our horses go through, over, and around obstacles and learn how to desensitize your horse ( Principles apply to ALL breeds ). |
| 2:15 - 2:30 | "Dressage the Cowboy Way" Learn the terminology and that "Dressage" is for everyone who wants the best from their horse. |
| 2:30 - 3:00 | "Starting Young Horses" Watch the demonstration of desensitizing your horses. NO, you don't wait till they are two to begin their training. |
| 3:15 - 3:45 | Your final chance to visit with the Gypsy Horses up
close. Take your fun pictures and ask about the Gypsy Horse World Show at the Fort Worth Stock Show. |
