ALL the pregnant mares came RUNNING up to the
fence like they had seen a ghost !
As I went out to
investigate....well, it became clear what the problem was.
There was only about six inches
of water left in the pond.
And Lance and Trevor thought it would
be great fun to ROLL around in it.
Note on the top photo how I just
finished rebraiding Trevor's mane all nice and neat.
I must say
though, they did stand nicely near the hose and let me rinse them off.
